@theindieknight: Her's perform "She Needs Him" at Paste Studios NYC, 2018. - Her’s truly defined their sound with Invitation to Her’s, their first full-length studio album released in 2018. While their earlier release Songs of Her’s introduced their style, this record refined it into something more cohesive and fully realized. The album blends nostalgic melodies with a playful, almost surreal atmosphere, moving effortlessly between indie pop, surf rock, and soft ballads. Tracks like “Harvey” and “Low Beam” highlight their ability to create catchy yet emotionally subtle songs, balancing warmth with a sense of distance and melancholy. Invitation to Her’s feels like a dreamy, self-contained world—each song with its own quirky identity, yet all connected by the duo’s signature charm. It stands as the definitive statement of their artistry, capturing both their creativity and the unique chemistry between Stephen Fitzpatrick and Audun Laading. #hers #indie #pop #livemusic #pastestudios
