@projectcoyoteorg: 🌱 Spring is pup season for coyotes and other wild carnivores! 🐾 From April through June, coyote families are busy raising their young. During this time, adults may be more visible as they travel between hunting areas and their dens, gathering food and keeping a close watch over their pups, like any good parent! After about a month, curious pups begin to emerge and explore, like we see here. As they do, their parents become especially attentive to activity nearby. This is natural behavior during a critical stage of development. If you encounter coyotes this time of year: - Give them plenty of space - Avoid lingering near den sites - Keep pets supervised - Secure attractants like pet food, garbage, and fallen fruit These simple actions help keep people, pets, and wildlife safe.
