I have a whole bachelors degree now and it still didn’t get better. They stayed down my WHOLE grad weekend so I couldn’t even go out and celebrate it. IM 21!!!! Sadly it doesn’t get better 😖

my parents told me last night that this wasn't my private Airbnb and that I had to be a part of the family. which means doing eveything with my family constantly. they also told me that I wasn't allowed to do anything unless I made it a goal and reported it to them at the end of the day and im not allowed any free time and if I have some I have to spend it doing chores. and if I had the time to complete all my "goals" and I didnt then id be in trouble. they literally told me if I want to text my boyfriend I have to make it a 15 minute goal that I tell them about at the of the day 🥀 this was after I was going to stay at college and they wouldn't let me because it was too expensive and id make more money at home . im literally not allowed to relax. they are also forcing me to have social time where I get in trouble if im home on weekends. I literally have no friends here and live in the middle of actually nowhere. none of my younger siblings have to do this btw.

Wow! My son hasn’t even started college and no curfew, no need for permission. I just ask him to tell me where he is and when he will be back so I can leave the light on. I don’t get smothering someone who is trying to navigate adulthood. I am on standby to do laundry and hang when he wants.
