I saw her body but it wasn’t her anymore it was just a body. She wasn’t in there. I don’t know where she went. Now I can’t bring myself to look at her ashes, the thought makes me feel sick.

It’s the random Tuesdays, it’s the days you get a promotion, the days where someone breaks your heart, it’s the seemingly insignificant days where a butterfly flies past you, or you catch a glimpse of them in someone else or the smell of their cologne. My great grandmother's favorite holiday was Christmas. I already never really cared for the holiday(truckload of reasons), but after she passed, I absolutely hate it. I'll still get gifts for people just because my love language is to give people gifts, but it's truly a holiday I wish was not as overrated as it already is.
