Wait question. I don’t have any knowledge on insurance and I know it can be difficult to get it, but can’t insurance cover it?

22k to get pregnant through IVF and another 33k to deliver via c-section under anesthesia. Thankfully I had really good insurance for the delivery and paid maybe 3k put of pocket but IVF was all cash pay bc insurance didn't cover a single red cent.

Most people have insurance tho, especially pregnant woman. Its very rare that youll have too unless you are literally rich😭 also epidural and extra medication isn’t “necessary.” 96% of pregnant woman in the united states have free healthcare.

My first, with no epidural or pain meds, was $34,000. And that was in Mississippi in 2018. Baby ended up in NICU on day 2 before discharge they noticed rapid breathing. Her NICU bill was $95,000.
