the fact that he shot up to number 5 (or four i cant remember) after izuku started working w him again actually makes me sob bc izuku has always been the physical form of every mistake and fault about himself so in an attempt to live up to the worlds expectations and to be the strongest he pushed izuku away and bullied him even though deep down he knew that izuku was the best and worst parts of himself. in a note it says that katsuki is just as sensitive as izuku and just expresses it differently, and if you think back on all of the seasons and take into account that he is just as sensitive you can really tell that every word effected him so much but he couldnt let his guard down. and later in the show when he starts to realize his mistakes he gets stronger and better at what he does. though he already was great when he finally accepted izuku he was able to put the pain and sadness into his work, but he also put the happiness and excitement in too. i understand not liking bkdk romantically but you have to see that they are quite literally made for eachother. bakugo embraces his sensitive and caring side when hes with izuku and izuku embraces the determined and unforgiving side. they are the worst and best parts of each other. given the fact that they grew up together and were always there for the other whether they showed it or not, shows just how much they yearn for the other to be by their side no matter how they acted towards the other at the time. ppl who say it doesnt make sense bc bakugo hated and bullied him actually pmo bc yes, there is no excuse for what he did and said but there is a reason. he was so desperate to be the best that he hid the parts of him that made him the best. also he apologized to izuku and has showed many times how sorry he is and how much he cares about izuku (ex. sacrificing his life multiple times) but anyways yeah i love bkdk on a spiritual level and it deadass makes me sad whenever i think ab them (all day every day)
