The only way to get 15% tax is to use salary sacrifice which is paid directly into your superannuation and not all companies have it. It is where an employee can nominate a set amount from their salary and is paid to their super. I have never heard of an employee getting this tax rate unless it’s going to super

I wouldn’t get out of bed for 4K a week these days. Long term fifo pays well, short term and starting out it’s good but not great.

I agree, anyone talking about making 4K cleaning rooms are lying. But I’ve seen some huge paycheques from skilled workers in mining. MRL pay their HD fitters 280k. Can see it on seek right now

One thing I really advocate is getting an accountant, they help with tax burdens and what you can claim and get reimbursed. I find that it helps with the high taxes

So true bro hubby made 300k a year but the tax he paid was 100k so realistically bringing home 200k in hand if that. Once he resigned they taxed him 13.5k from his leave etc and taxed another 9k from acirt his redundancy. He won't see any of that at tax time. ATO equals daylight robbery a big joke. Still grateful regardless though 👌🏾
