Man...at some point my niece and nephew did this for the last time...they are 10 and still happy to see me, but man I miss that run up to me so I could pick them up and hug them! Now they just walk up and I love on them.

My niece who isn’t a big hugger has recently been giving me the longest tightest hugs and she tells me I give the best hugs 💜 high praise from a kid that don’t let many people hug her. Makes me wanna cry every time

I have 6 biological nieces and nephews and a host of “adopted” ones! I LOVE it! My middle niece is 17 … tonight I went to the movies with her and her 2 besties who also call me Aunt. I’m 30 years older than them … they still all squealed when they saw me and gave me huge hugs. I couldn’t have kids … they make it okay! ❤️enjoy every single memory and moment!

I have never wanted kids (still don’t lol). But when my best friend got pregnant? When I met my nephew? I can’t describe the love. The protectiveness. The fear. The joy… I would do anything for that tiny human 😭💜✨
