The key is maintaining pressure, balance, and speed throughout the movement. During my one-foot Mohawk, I counterbalance by keeping my weight back and creating pressure through the outside of my hip, almost as though I’m pushing my back toward the boards. This allows me to stay balanced over my inside edge without falling forward. Watch how my chest stays stable while my hips and feet do the work. CONTROL THE EDGE. CONTROL THE PRESSURE.
