@darylbydesign: People have talked about it, I’ve heard it in stories and movies as well. After hearing so much about it, I finally visited it myself. And to see it in real life is a wonder. There is no doubt this is one of the wonders of the world. How human engineering was able to build something of this immense scale back before machines were invented is a marvel. It never cease to amaze me how sprawling and commanding the wall is, from one end to another. A true must visit when in beijing. Take the badaling entrance if you’re coming from the city.
