Real Grades are fantastic in terms of the details and what they can achieve, but I’ve built 3 and that’s my limit. They are just too fiddly and fall apart too easily.

IMHO "hard to build" is subjective though. I don't agree with most of the reasons mentioned here to classify the kits as hard to build.

a ‘hand grenade’ is not something hard to build. likewise, ‘transforming gimmicks’ should not be classified as hard to build. that may be hard to assemble maybe. if you want a challenge that requires advance level skill, try RG SHINING GUNDAM. so PSA that kit is not meant beginners, it is over engineered. it is beautiful once built but really difficult to build

i just build the tata Ver ka from 2002 and its very solid, I only have a problem with 1 joint in one of the extra hands and thats it, its very solid and balanced, with eater decals looks bether that modern tata's 🥰🥰

out of transforming ones I hate the most is the mg v series. that core fighter system was so janky. I havent had problems with older mgs myself i find it matters what details you put in it. I'm over zealous with panel lining so makes them look great. also, dont put that pg curse on me. I finally just got my first, and its the unicorn perfectibility

real grades after 2017 are all pretty good, but do need a lot of dexterity. while pre 2017 ones tend to be more "look at me and I'll explode, I dare you" kits.
