@shavarross: Working with Howard E. Rollins Jr. was unforgettable. He was a phenomenal actor — funny, charming, and incredibly talented. I got to spend a lot of time with him up in Toronto, Ontario, Canada during filming, and it was truly special. Seeing him alongside my real dad (who also had a part in the movie), along with Clarence Williams III, Gloria Foster, and the rest of this incredible cast laughing, getting along, and swapping stories about old times on the set… that was Black excellence at its finest. As a young kid, it left a lasting impression on me, and I still cherish those memories today. This 1984 PBS WonderWorks classic, based on Virginia Hamilton’s novel, follows a Black family moving into a historic house tied to the Underground Railroad, filled with secrets and mystery. Pure magic on and off camera. Song: "Choir Cadaver" by VAR ---- #H#HouseOfDiesDrearH#HowardERollins8#80sNostalgiaB#BlackExcellenceClassicBlackFilm
