@hybridcalisthenics: Going from pullups (assisted) to full pullups can feel surprisingly difficult The good news is that you probably already most of the "raw" strength to pull yourself up - you just have to better translate that into the skill of it. This may include learning the movement + brushing up some smaller muscles. Doing pullup holds and negatives may help with this, but it also just helps to do a variation of pullup that is not assisted by a machine or legs. I can do like 3-4 pull-ups but I cannot 1rm my bw on cable lat pulldowns, I can do a few reps with my body weight on a lat pulldown machine tho

My personal add on. Take whatever your max time is on a negative pull up. Double it. Complete sets of 1 negative pull up at the max time you can manage, till the total accumulated time is the doubled time from earlier.
