I remember this. My hairdresser said my hair was extremely dry and I needed to stop with the no oils no butters. Looking back it was the dumbest thing I’ve done. I should have known better. I’ve been natural since 1997😩

The same thing happened to me when I got a curly cut and followed the no oils/butters regimen, you can literally see the discoloration. NEVER again!

My granddaughter and I are in the same boat but we are trimming every 4 months. I have about 1-2 inches left but my granddaughter my have about 4 inches may take off two inches the next time she goes to the hairdresser 😔

But so much oil or heavy oil dry my own hair out . I use oil just not more than the hair conditioning butter
