The reason I believe the child could see things that adults couldnt is bc when we’re younger were more acceptuve too seeing things and if we dont continuously use it then we lose it when we get older

hey can u read mine i haven't really told anyone this I didn’t think anything of it at first. It started a couple nights ago. I woke up randomly—no reason, just one of those times where your eyes snap open and everything feels… off. My room was dark except for that faint glow from outside, and I remember thinking I saw something move near my door. Like a shadow—but not connected to anything. I told myself it was just my eyes adjusting, you know? So I rolled over and went back to sleep. But then it happened again. Last night, I woke up at exactly 3:12am. I know that because I checked my phone right after. And this time, I saw it properly. There was something in the corner of my room. Not solid. Not like a person. Just… a gray shape. Taller than my dresser, kind of stretched out, like smoke that wasn’t moving. It didn’t have a face, but I knew it was looking at me. I froze. Like fully couldn’t move. And the weirdest part? It wasn’t coming closer… but it was getting clearer. Like it was focusing. I blinked—and it was gone. I sat up straight away, turned my light on, checked everywhere. Nothing. Door still shut. Window closed. I didn’t sleep after that. Today I tried to forget about it. I even joked about it in my head like “wow I’m going crazy.” But tonight… Tonight was worse. I wasn’t even asleep this time. I was on my phone, lights off, just scrolling. And I swear—I saw something shift on my wall. Like a shadow moving… but nothing in my room was moving. I slowly looked up. And there it was again. Closer. Not in the corner this time. Right next to my door. Same gray shape. But this time it looked… thicker. Like it was starting to become more solid. And then— My door handle moved. Just slightly. Like someone tried it but didn’t open it. I couldn’t breathe. I literally just stared at it. And the shadow… it tilted. Like it noticed I saw. Then my phone screen went black. Not dead—just… turned off. And when I looked back up— It was gone again. I turned every light on in my room after that. I’m still awake right now writing this, and I don’t want to turn the
