"I can't afford it" is a cop out. If you're not with the right person, or just don't want to, that's a legit reason. My wife and I had 4 kids before we were 30. I was building my career. The only things we couldn't afford were luxuries. You sacrifice so your kids don't go without. My wife has had multiple new vehicles because she was the one driving the kids around. I made due with a Ranger, with a Grand Caravan.... I still have never had a new truck. we took the kids to Disneyland a couple years ago. I would sacrifice everything for my family!

my friends and I all have husbands but don't want kids due to the fact that we can hardly save money let alone children. I think that's a bigger factor instead of technology

Technology is not the issue, the issue is greed, there's enough in fact more than enough of everything to not have homelessness or famine but we as a society decided that it was better to destry food and goods just so a few people can make more money we have manufactured scarcity as a business model make it make sense
