She literally had to just trust that he would not be found, that the cart wasn’t going to be abandoned and he’d be taken somewhere safe, that anyone who found him wouldn’t turn him in, she had to go on blind faith and ignore any fear she had for the what ifs and the maybes so that she could lead them away from him
