Freedom to photograph and film Members of the public and the media do not need a permit to film or photograph in public places and police have no power to stop them filming or photographing incidents or police personnel.

If you lead people, there is something about leadership I want you to sit with for a moment. What is happening inside you may feel private, but it does not always stay there. I have seen this repeatedly in my work with senior leaders. Someone is carrying a difficult business situation, a personal challenge, or simply more pressure than the people around them realise. They still show up. They attend the meetings, answer the emails, make the decisions and keep things moving. But something has changed. Their tone is a little shorter. Their patience runs thinner. Decisions that once came with context now arrive without much explanation. Nothing dramatic has happened, but the team notices. And people begin adjusting themselves around it. They stop bringing problems early. They wait until they have worked out every possible solution before coming to you. They agree more quickly in meetings because, right now, disagreement feels like it might cost them something. Nobody sat down and decided to behave this way. They simply read the room and responded to what they were experiencing. That is why your Inner Currency matters. When you are grounded, regulated and clear within yourself, people tend to have more room to think, question, contribute and do their best work. When you are stretched thin, reactive or emotionally depleted, the people around you can feel that too. Often without knowing exactly what has changed, they begin to contract. This is not about expecting leaders to be perfectly calm all the time. You are human. You will have difficult seasons. You will have days when you are carrying more than usual. The leadership work is being honest enough to notice when what you are carrying has started entering the room with you. Sometimes the most important development is not another leadership technique or another thing to add to your skill set. Sometimes it is pausing long enough to ask yourself:

Sometimes the most important development is not another leadership technique or another thing to add to your skill set. Sometimes it is pausing long enough to ask yourself: "What am I carrying right now? And what might it be creating in the people around me?" Because what you carry does not stay with you. It travels. Build what you carry. Then learn how to carry it in a way that gives other people room to bring their best selves into the room too.
