I’m not on the cops side 95% of the time. The driver escalated it off the rip. The cop repeatedly asked him for his DL. This wouldn’t have gone the way it did if he would’ve just given him his DL. The guy was almost out of the vehicle and his wife was the first one to say anything about his bad back and then he repeated what she was saying. With the guy acting/reacting the way he was, the cop didn’t want to take his eyes off of him to look for canes. BUT he absolutely shouldn’t have taken him to the ground. He could’ve cuffed him standing up after he searched him.
