@raquelsutherlandmedia: The easiest colour combinations to look out for when filming are complementary colours! 🎨These are colours that sit opposite each other on the colour wheel. They work so well because they create the strongest visual contrast, making images feel more vibrant and striking. The 3 most common combinations you’ll see in filmmaking are: 1. blue and orange — it naturally appears in the sky during golden hour, alongside skin tones. 2. Red and green is also common, but a little more subtle. You’ll often find it in nature, where green foliage is paired with reds — and in everyday scenes like red brick against grass. 3. The hardest to find naturally is yellow and purple. Aside from the occasional spring flowers, it rarely appears on its own. I’ve found it shows up more at night, through artificial light rather than nature.
