When I was a kid, I figured out how to convert any number into binary or from binary into a number. You just divide by 2. If there’s a decimal, its a 1. If no decimal, its a 0. Then reverse it in the end. So for the number 25, keep dividing… 12.5, 6, 3, 1.5, 0.5 …. 10011, which in reverse is 11001, binary for 25.

basically think of the 4 number slots as 8421. so if you have 0001, it equals 1. if you have 0010, it equals 2. if you have 0011, it equals 3. it's just adding up the numbers for whichever slots have a 1 in them 👍
