Good amount of contaminant on that subfloor, also with it being a new build is it not an anhydrite screed? Maybe step 1 should have been grinding contaminants and laitance off.....

@Blake: Stage 1 clean grind any contaminates off vac all dust off floor off floor stage 2 check for dpm if not prime stage 3 it’s a smoothing compound you put down stage 4 rub down floor with str and feather if needed stage 5 fit …

Stage 1 grind. stage 2 vac and primer, 3 screed, 4 str off and vac 6 lay
