My ex had mentioned about us going to marriage guidance counselling to see if we could make the relationship work. Both of us had to complete a questionnaire before counselling. During the actual session it came out me ex didn’t even complete the questionnaire 🤦♂️that was when I knew it was over. The cruel part to me was how she still continued to give hope the marriage was worth saving while making plans to exit suddenly. Even on break up honesty and transparency is very important.

It’s sad for both sides but I’ve been there and moving on was best for both of us. I know the ‘checked out’ feeling and thankfully we are friends - I hope you both go on and love your best lives 😊
