I’ve lived through most of these now after 11 years, a husband & 2 kids. I wish I could say it gets easier but I still break down over it like once a week 😭 but I have gotten through them. I have a beautiful life that I know my dad would be so proud of. You will too babe. Sending you hugs 🫶🏻

It’s not just grieving the person when you lose them young, it’s also grieving all the things that could have been…that should have been. I’m so sorry for your loss. July 2025 for me.

My dad died when I was 8, having to walk through life without him has been awful. 6th grade graduation, last year was my senior year, now I’m engaged and having a baby. Missing him has consumed me. Wishing he were here. The sheer jealousy i have of other females who have their dads makes me so sad. Especially when I have the best step dad, it makes me feel like a terrible person.
