Meanwhile my 2014 Pilot has an issue with the piston rings sticking due to the cylinder deactivation system causing engine failure. Honda graciously had a warranty enhancement for unlimited mileage but it expired in February and they would only take my engine apart and replace the piston rings! Any other components were needed or should be replaced were my financial responsibility RIGHT!!!’ The average flat rate Honda “technician” around here couldn’t fix a sandwich never mind an internal engine repair!!! They destroyed the air bag on my ‘06 CR-V when performing the Takata air bag recall. The dash cam recording was priceless. I got a free rental for a week while they replaced everything. So F..k Honda. Either install new engines and or buy them back but the consumer is taking it in the back on this one !!!!
