I think it’s the name, not saying to change it but it’sjust not obvious what you’re selling and you can’t see your products unless you walk down. Better signage would be ideal:

Add Bakery to the name, get an A board that’s visible from that central area, add some fake flowers around the outside of your shop entrance to catch peoples eye. At the moment that turning looks like a dead end so you need to give people reason to check it out

Signs that say cakes, with arrows pointing to your store, left here for cakes etc. You walking about with samples in a distinctive apron. An Instagram where you get people to tag you with a photo of the cake they bought, and maybe the first three people to do that every month get 15% off their next order. Maybe have some cards or flyers made and ask a coffee shop in there if they will display them in exchange for you having a sign saying check out X Coffee. Register your business on Google, and fill in as much detail as possible, then ask customers to leave you a review

Agree with others that the name is entirely wrong. I’ve looked at your other posts and I’d also say the decor is too modern office. Try to soften the feel of the space with more natural fibres, like hessian sacks draped over a small old wooden ladder propped against the wall for example. I’d also me much more likely to buy cakes that aren’t pre-packaged, like from a covered display case, then put into boxes in front of me. Yours look like something that has been mass produced, which of course they’re not. Good luck with it all ☺️

So my idea that I’ve had for ages - small businesses should get beer mats advertising their business and give them to local pubs. Pubs never refuse beer mats as the use them constantly. People in pubs read the beer mats. Hundreds of local eyes reading your business details - although I do think it would work better for things like local taxi companies- still worth a go for a bakery though.

If puck means frozen cookies, why not sell frozen raw cookies? Then you wouldn’t waste anything and people can bake them at home and eat them all warm and gooey. I’d buy that. And let people buy a mix and match batch of different flavours. Yum
