I just installed a Nikki style carb on a Briggs 15.5. I’m shocked at how well it works. Even idles down well.

They even gave you the correct fuel filter. The one you used is meant for systems with a pump not a gravity fed system.

I generally don't like Nikki carburetors I'm with everybody else it ain't worth cleaning them but they are somewhat good carburetors when they're new

my 13 yr old son was given a craftsman 42" with the Briggs 22hp. after he cleaned all the mouse crap off the engine, a battery and carb clean and it's good to go. but that carb company looks good

why not include a new plug, check and sharpen blades and actually change the oil? then market as freshly tuned and ready to go.

@Tom: Any idea why my Kohler 7000 series bent both pushrods valve guides seem fine valves have full travel I straightened the push rods and I haven't seen them bend again, any ideas on why the bent in the first place the guy said he hit something hard and it shut off immediately idk why the push rods bent
