The coach using CPR saved her too. “Not working” shows a misunderstanding of how cpr works. It keeps oxygen flowing through your body until a higher level of care can be implemented

Not a miracle. Quality CPR and early defibrillation saves lives. That’s why AED’a should be in all public locations—especially schools and arhletic venues.

Thankfully there some quick thinking folks on hand who were clearly trained properly and responded immediately. Skill, training and prompt response saves lives.

I show this video every time I teach a CPR class. I use it to show that SCA doesn’t just happen to “old people “. And I use it to show how fast it can happen. She had been having chest discomfort for a couple of weeks prior but thought she “was out of shape “.

My office building has a defibrillator on every floor where people can quickly access it.

Thank you for everyone being a part of helping her and survive hopefully whatever made that happen to her. They can correct and if it was a heart issue, maybe she blessed with all the care and everything that she needs. I hope she lives a long, healthy life.
