@debsmumdiaries: no one taught me what my feelings were growing up so I’m making sure she learns hers early 🤍 we started from around 1 naming emotions, talking through them, sitting with them because those big feelings in such a tiny body… they deserve to be understood, not dismissed I’ve linked the books we use from TikTok and honestly, they’ve been the biggest shift we read at least 3 books every night (sometimes more, always led by her 🤍) and right now she’s obsessed with story time watching her recognise emotions, talk about them, and slowly learn how to move through them… it’s healing something in me too 🥺 #toddlerbooks #toddleremotions #bigfeelings #intentionalparenting #breakinggenerationalcycles
