@sakurides: A little while ago I was in a motorcycle accident. I’ve taken some time to process it before sharing, and I’m okay now, healed up, back on my feet, and honestly just really grateful to be able to say that. Tairn didn’t make it.
The damage was too big, and there was no way to fix him. That bike wasn’t just a bike to me. It was freedom, memories, comfort , everything. Selling him for parts felt like saying goodbye in the worst possible way. What really stays with me though is this:
Looking at the state of my bike vs. me… I shouldn’t have walked away like I did. My gear genuinely saved my skin.
I was wearing my @pandomoto gear, and I’m not exaggerating when I say it made the difference between walking away and something much worse. I was incredibly lucky to come out of it with “just” heavy bruising and a minor whiplash. Right now I’m just taking things step by step. 
Mentally catching up, physically I’m good again… and honestly? I already miss riding more than anything. I am ready to get back on a bike… but realistically, that will have to wait a little. Replacing it just isn’t something I can do financially right now. But I will be back.
