@wirralaquatics: Hillstream loaches are native to Southeast Asia. They look a little like miniature stingrays and are offered referred to this accordingly. These hardy little fish require very specific water parameters: they require a strong flow within tank, this can be created by oversized filters or power heads. They also require high oxygen levels and extremely clean water. When considering the aquarium, be sure to make sure that the bottom of the tank is smooth – either with sand or smooth stones to prevent damage to their undersides. At Wirral Aquatics we feed our Hillstream loaches daphnia and brine shrimp. The staple part of their diet comes from the microorganisms that can be found on algae and biofilm, occurring naturally within the tank. #hillstreamloach #algaeeater #ministingray
