Guy educate yourself. Opay is own by the billionaire owner of Opera Mini software and not built in Lagos. the App is not even close to any owner in Nigeria.

Funny enough I was the app promoter when they started in Lagos Ikeja. I promoted the app, the bike(O-ride). then when you book their bike from mainland to island or anywhere is #100. then OPAY will employ and train you as a biker and give you bike to work with them.. I really suffered walking from Street to street convincing people to use to app and bike but unfortunately when the promo is over the people in charge refused to retain us. now see OPAY today.

Why are you talking like you're doing these brands a favour for using them? None of us used Opay simply because we want to grow the company, we used it because they solved our problem. We just have a government that doesn't think about anything other than themselves.

As painful as not listing in Nigeria is, I won't stop stop using Opay because it helps greatly during crisis like no cash era and COVID-19. many bank failed us.

Don’t be surprised that OPay might have tried to list on NGX but got frustrated. Even if they list on the US STOCK MARKET, I will still own a piece of the company. If I can buy some US STOCKS why can’t I buy OPay shares. If they join telecoms, I will be the first to buy their SIM cards 🥰🙏
