Totally agree! My sister got married in Italy when our son was just about to turn 1. It was hectic AF but we wouldn’t have missed it for anything - set the expectations low and just roll with it. Gotta live!

Alright so accept no one sleeps lol. But we went to Ireland and Iceland with our 18mo old and 32 weeks pregnant. It was wild and insane. But when we look back on the trip we remember the really fun stuff.

As a child who was brought along to all the travels with my parents I 100% encouraged bringing your little ones along. I’m 20 in college and because of the people I met as a kid I have great connections, memories, and I feel I’m a well rounded individual because of an early exposure to traveling and the world!!!

a 6 hour drive with my 2 kids made me sick to my stomach to visit my husband's family.... I feel awful because I don't think I could ever go on a big vacation with them. my anxiety is awful.

You just have to do it, the more you do it the quicker the kids get used to it. We traveled when our kids were babies most fit the time I was on my own and you just do it!

Thank you for this! We took a roadtrip to the beach when my son was Briggs’ age. Those are some of my favorite memories from the early days. We are planning to go to Serbia for 10 days when he’s around 17 months. Seeing Cooper living his best life in Italy gives me peace about it. 😄
