I appealed 3 times! First time I got $10,000 with no effort but asking. Second time I sent other college offers that were lower and reasons we needed more money. I got $1,000 only. We accepted April 30th and paid $500 deposit. On May 1 a different school finally came back with $10,000 less. On May 1st I emailed AGAIN and asked for them to match it or meet me halfway. I got $5,000. Keep asking. I based my budget on the school’s net calculator. Some private schools have the endowment money to give. I got $16,000 more off. I could have maybe have gotten even more, but ultimately happy enough. Total grant was $64,000. Good luck!

My son committed, tuition was brought down but housing is not working . I sent email like yeah we cant, praying they bring it down if not CC its cause my son is not going into debt for no housing .

Don't enroll or deposit yet before the appeal is approved btw, so many people deposit pending approval of their appeal and then it gets denied 😅
