He says about 15 masked officers raided a house in Westridge, Cape Town at 4am looking for him, even though he no longer lives there. The house is now occupied by a teacher and her family, who were left traumatised. Adams claims a 12-year-old boy was assaulted during the raid. He believes the raid was meant to intimidate or possibly kidnap him, not a real police operation. Adams says he is being targeted because he is a witness in cases involving Fannie Masemola, Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi, and Dumisani Khumalo.
