![PROPOSAL: BUILDING A PERMANENT HOME FOR 30 ORPHANS Project Name: HOPE for LIFE Children’s Home Location: Jinja, Uganda Organization: HOPE for LIFE Beneficiaries: 30 Orphans [Boys & Girls]. Project Duration: 12 months 1. INTRODUCTION HOPE for LIFE is a community-based initiative caring for 30 orphaned children in jinja. Currently, the children lack a permanent, safe home. They are hosted in temporary shelter and depend on daily donations for food. We believe every child deserves more than survival. They deserve a home. 2. PROBLEM STATEMENT 30 children have no permanent place to call home No safe bedrooms, kitchen, or sanitation facilities Food insecurity — we rely on daily donations Vulnerability — without a stable home, children are at risk of abuse, dropping out of school, and poor health The rented/temporary space cannot support their growth for the rest of their lives 3. PROJECT GOAL To build a permanent 4-bedroom orphanage home where 30 children of HOPE for LIFE can live safely, eat well, go to school, and grow with dignity. 4. PROJECT OBJECTIVES Construct a home with 4 dormitories, kitchen, dining hall, bathrooms, office, and play area Provide security with a fence and water tank Create stability so children can stay together as a family until adulthood Reduce costs — owning a home means more funds go to food, education, and health instead of rent 5. PROPOSED FACILITIES 4 Dormitories — 7-8 children per room with beds Kitchen + Dining Hall — to cook and eat together 2 Bathrooms + 2 Toilets — for hygiene and health Office/Storage — for records and supplies Water tank + Solar — clean water and power Perimeter Fence + Play Area — safety and childhood 8. HOW DONORS CAN HELP We are looking for partners to fund: Full project — $55,000 Phase funding — Foundation, Walls, Roof In-kind — Beds, mattresses, building materials, solar Monthly sponsors — $50 feeds 3 children for a month 9.
