Interesting take. I do understand where your coming from completely. However as for the entertainment niche that is definitely something I hope to transition from in the future but I just personally feel like the audit role when applying was something i wanted to do now i received the offer now I want to go into a completely different sector. So in my gap year I plan on landing a apprenticeship in that sector building myself and skills outside of socials, while building something on socials too. It is my fault because I should’ve made a p2 showing the offer more and providing more context as to why i don’t want to go into audit.

As a follow unc (turned 30 in Feb) couldn’t agree more. Content is a great avenue to build something meaningful, fun and financially rewarding but throwing away an opportunity at the big 4 because of TikTok is MENTAL to me. The skills, the network and the development could be limitless at KPMG. Wishing the brother the best and inshallah it all works out but throwing away an opportunity like this idk man… AllahHu A’lam

There’s a lot to i’s in this video bro if u can manage doesn’t mean he/others can. Also the only thing that matters is he is prioritising his salah, n if he thinks he can do it better without the degree then that’s completely fine

Real or not, I think if you’re going to take a gap year, 18 is a great time to do it.

Hello Bellin :
Truly understand what ur saying however it could also be a thing of him needing a break from education. I think because he’s is young, him taking that break and exploring every opportunity could be beneficial for him in the long run. I think he should’ve kept the offer however I do understand why he chose this route.

Most DAs are incredibly demanding after the first month your expected to take on quite a lot of responsibility what you’d normally take when your 21-25 not 18 on top studying for the qualification. The money is good but your someone else’s slave and if there’s other avenues for u I suggest u take it
