I listened to this in store at Sam’s Club and tried comparing it to my party box 1000 and it was literally not even close. Had a very cheap tin canny sound and had no bass at all.

I don’t understand why people keep trying to compare it to JBL lol. Monster has good speakers for the PRICE. This speaker is loud and has decent bass for the price. It’s good for outdoor parties but it’s no where near the quality of a JBL 710,720 or ultimate. It is way louder then a 320 JBL or anything below. If you don’t want to spend so much on a speaker this will do. If you can spend more money then I recommend the 710 or 720 that’s perfect. The ultimate is even better but that speaker is so expensive.
