@labmuffinbeautyscience: If a new form of sunscreen seems too good to be true… there's a good chance it's because you aren't applying enough. At the same time, there ARE lightweight sunscreens that don't give a white cast and feel almost like moisturiser, with the FULL application amount! The best sunscreen is the one you'll apply ENOUGH OF, regularly. This means around ¼ teaspoon for your face alone, 1 shotglass for your body. #spf #sunscreen #sunscreensticks #sunscreensprays #cosmeticscience
I want to use a lot of sunscreen, but it is super expensive, and the cheaper ones are so heavy or leave white cast

I feel like there’s no way to properly reapply enough sunscreen over makeup without disrupting the makeup 💔

Can someone help a neurodivergent girlie out? I absolutely hate the sensation of sunscreen, lotion or any other thing on my skin, any recommendations?

Aint gonna lie queen I put on sunscreen once in the morning and do not reapply it. I have oily skin and no matter what it feels dirty to apply another layer on top of my unwashed and polluted face.

I just use P20 and have no worries. It's swim resistant spf 50 that lasts 10 hours, and yes it has been tested thoroughly. My BoJ sunscreen is just for indoors and funsies, I use P20 if I am going outside

genuine question, if You wear makeup, especially concealer or foundation how can you reapply a "normal" sunscreen without just smudging everything else off?

See that’s too much for me so I won’t use any sunscreen at all and not go into the sun either.

I thought it might be worth adding that an SPF of 7 still blocks ~85% of UVB so it is significantly better than not wearing sunscreen at all. The SPF scale is logarithmic so it can be pretty confusing.

How to reapply over makeup is still an open question for me. I have combo skin and in the summer, anything except for the powder sunscreen is a nightmare for reapplication.

i avoid the sun when the uv index is really high (almost everyday here lol), wear full sleeves, hats, and stay in the shade when i can. but because of the INTENSE heat i sweat a lot so i'm thinking of getting the biore waterproof spf. i heard it's good but what do yall think?

Do Asian sunscreens still work well under the Australian sun? I am interested in trying the skin 1004 sunscreen since I have oily skin but am a bit nervous

Luna Adele Shariac :
I have a question. If most of these products aren't really sufficient in SPF protection when used on their own (which I dont think a lot of people would only use foundation by itself with no powders, primers, etc.), would using a full routine of make up with SPF protection work equivalently to a layer of suncreen? (Like, a SPF foundation + SPF setting powder, SPF blush, etc.) Aside from that, would you still recommend using makeup that has SPF on top of suncreen for extra protection or is it just a gimmick for advertisement and sticking to a layer of suncreen is better?
