Texas sheet cake - my mom used to make this all the time when I was growing up!! Method: 1. combine flour, sugar, baking soda, salt in mixer 2. mix in sour cream and eggs 3. in a saucepan, melt 1 cup butter, 5 tbsp cocoa, 1 cup water and bring to a boil. Once boiling remove, let cool slightly, and add to mixer. Mix until smooth 4. bake at 350 degrees F for 15-20 minutes in a greased rimmed sheet pan (it’s called sheet cake for a reason!!!) 5. while cake is baking, make icing - mix 6 tbsp milk, 5 tbsp cocoa powder, 1/2 cup butter, 3-4 cups confectioners sugar, 2 tsp vanilla in a saucepan and bring to slight boil. Remove, let cool slightly 6. cover cake with icing after cake is fully cooked, top with walnuts if desired - @distorted_dishes
