I was also denied. I appealed it and denied again. I had to file for an independent medical review which took 30 days and force the insurance to cover the medication

i start my journey soon! i’ve been diabetic since i was 14, and now that i’m 26, my doctors have been more serious about my health because they realized that jist “diet and exercise and drinking water” isn’t enough. i advocated so hard for this and i finally get to start soon! i’m nervous but i’m so happy that one day, i’ll be in remission from diabetes and my future looks brighter!!

And that’s sad cause everyone’s body is different. For me, I gained on Mounjaro. I’m thankful my insurance is covering my Ozempic. It shouldn’t be this difficult.

Could you talk to them about getting approved for Zepbound? My understanding is that it has been easier to get insurance to approve verses Mounjaro
