You guys, they look at eachother because they can't trust HER 😭😭😭 At this time Azula was the only friend either one of them had outside of eachother. Both had no relationship with their families and clung onto her as friends. The only reason why Mai "betrayed" Azula in the first place was because when she finally developed a connection outside of her, she had the courage to do the right thing. Ty-Lee only "betrayed" Azula because of Mai's courage. If Azula had treated them right, if she had used loyalty instead of fear to keep them around, then I truely, truly think they would have been by her side until she started to loose it towards the end of the series.
