@captainmattymo: Is Castle Hot Springs worth the price? It is consistently ranked as the Top Resort in AZ and among the best in the country. Only 60 guests at a time. 8 miles off road to get there (or you can helicopter in…we later learned). History surrounds it. The first telephone in AZ was installed here, the number to dial was 1. The first resort golf course was here. Presidents like JFK and Roosevelt came here to heal in the mineral baths along with World War II soldiers. Exclusive and all-inclusive. Accommodations are all private cabins with outdoor space. They source most of their vegetables, herbs, and whatever they can from the property. Can’t say “no” hospitality. The mineral springs are the main highlight. Your time can be spent relaxing or you can hit the list of activities and adventure like we did. Hiking, biking, archery, axe throwing, crafts, and even a pitching green. It was a fun weekend celebrating Kim’s birthday, but I’m glad I finally got to discover this place. So much more surrounds it, but you might have to just visit it for yourself. So to answer my question, absolutely - Yes!
