I see this over and over again — women who feel like their body is suddenly “too sensitive,” “too tired,” or “too reactive,” and they start wondering what’s wrong with them. Most of the time… nothing is wrong. Your body just stopped tolerating what it used to tolerate. The pace, the stress, the products, the expectations — all of it adds up. And when you finally feel it, it can be scary and confusing, especially when you’re told everything looks “normal” on paper. For me, this started with my skin. Switching to things like tallow wasn’t about being crunchy or doing something trendy — it was just the first time I noticed my body actually relax instead of react. That small change ended up opening a much bigger door into learning how connected our nervous system, hormones, metabolism, and inflammation really are. That’s why I care so much about regulation first. I’m in the middle of continuing my education to become a certified health, wellness, and nutrition coach, with a focus on nervous system regulation and burnout in women — and I’m also learning more about hormones, metabolism, and related systems so I can understand what women’s bodies are dealing with and support them in a thoughtful, case-by-case way. Not to “fix” anyone. Not to push protocols. Just to listen better, take women seriously, and help reduce some of the load their bodies are carrying. You’re not broken. Your body isn’t failing you. It’s responding to the world it’s in. And that matters 🤍 #youarenotbroken #nervoussystemregulation #womenshealth #holisticwellness #tallow
