The rabies vaccine was by far the hardest thing to do! Trying to have it covered by insurance was painful. Took me over 15 doctor’s offices before someone would administer it. Good luck in the process.

As a pre vet, do they drug test? How often? I’m assuming they do but never heard either way. (I’m on Adderall so it would just be a whole another stack of paperwork to add lol)

Entering vet school this fall: white coat ceremony rsvp, ordering the coat, vaccines for the vet school and main campus, finding a place to live, general paperwork, buying books, summer training through canvas… girl I get it! But we made it this far! Congrats on getting in! 💚

I thought this was common knowledge 😂 like you get admitted to any college you have to submit paperwork and pay the deposit to secure the seat… is nothing new or special 🤣

I got accepted to lmu on Dec 7th 2025 and started school Jan 5th. I had a week to decide and I finally just decided to go! But I only had like 2-3 weeks to figure out everything. It was hard but it was worth it. I found a place (didn’t even tour it just signed a lease online) and had to do two rabies shots, tetanus, and drug testing. Pay my seat deposit and move 9 hours away. I worked until new years and then moved in the weekend before vet school. Couldn’t get my rabies covered and Walgreens didn’t order my second vax it was such a mess. I’m so grateful I did it though! Congratulations 🎊
