@namiscloset: • One of the oldest toy breeds — the Maltese dates back over 2,000 years, loved by ancient Greeks and Romans • Despite their delicate look, they were historically fearless little watchdogs 🐶 • Known for their signature pure white, silky coat that grows continuously like human hair • They’re hypoallergenic-ish — they shed very little, making them popular for allergy-sensitive homes • Maltese dogs are highly people-oriented and form very strong bonds with their humans ❤️ • They’re smart and trainable, but can have a bit of a stubborn streak (tiny diva energy 😄) • Famous for their dark, expressive eyes and black button nose, which contrast beautifully with their coat • They were often carried by royalty — especially popular with European aristocracy 👑 • Despite their small size (usually under 7 lbs), they have surprising confidence and boldness • They don’t need tons of space, making them great for apartments or smaller homes Fun fact: They don’t have an undercoat, which is why their fur falls straight and silky instead of fluffy! #Maltese #ToyBreed #DogFacts #SmallDogBigPersonality #DogLovers 🐾
