As someone who’s doing masters- I only did it because I wanted an extra year to figure out what the hell ima do after uni. Only an extra year but it’s been worth it 😅

One of my best friends did a degree in psychology and came out of it to become a teaching assistant with SEN kids with an agency. It is kinda relevant to his agree. He is going into creative writing tho, bit of a pivot😂

Ngl my future plan is to do a gap year bc I never did on. My family deffo won’t be funding it so I will be working in my cafe job at home for like 6 months to get the finances up to go travelling and then come back to join the police soooo hopefully it works out

In Germany it’s literally impossible to get a job without a Masters so guess who’s getting a Masters even though I‘d literally rather be anywhere else than a university 😬

I’m applying to doctoral programs mostly because I need it do anything relating to counseling but am I apply out side of the US fully because I HATE AND DID NOT VOTE for this! (And yes I know I can get a masters and be done but I want to get my doctorate)

I know this isn't the point but I worked in Waterstones for 4 years and it is honestly quite good on your CV! would recommend, especially if you want to go into publishing or writing of some kind

I was the latter, graduated on the Wednesday job started on the Monday 😅 i had accepted the job offer like a week before graduation and spent the day after hunting for a flat (I’m gifted/super lucky at flat hunting - it took 3hrs to find a decent one that was less than £800/month and was a 10 minute walk from my job)
