I lived this. The slow pain, there’s no words to describe it. I didn’t end it, but I was pushing and pushing for an explanation, over and over again and when I finally got the words out, it was to tell me ‘I have felt disconnected for the last year’. Year!!!! This is the worse experience I’ve ever had. Even with the slow break up, it was totally unexpected and blindsided.

Jokes on me, my ex did both. They first disregarded me out of nowhere and broke up with me, then came back two later. Everything was well for a month and then BOOM the sudden switch happened and they started treating me like shit so I can broke up with them.

this is what happened to me. she stopped doing chores in March, then in April she stopped all cohabitating activities. I went to work May 1st thinking we're going to have to work out our issues eventually. I came home and she was gone.

Yes, this was my story. She did that slow fade to me, and I said goodbye to her, but then I felt so much regret and pain after that. I broke no contact multiple times but she didn’t accept me and at the end, blocked me on everything, naturally.
