Working to provide for yourself is A LOT different than working to provide for AN ENTIRE FAMILY.

So I don’t have a family and I get to go on vacations all the time and spend all my money on not a family.

Thanks for the tip single girlie in her 20s but I’m going to continue appreciating my husband in the same manner he appreciates me.

social media is really trying to get us to appreciate NOTHING. Like just be thankful?

Working mom of two who is happily married and I completely agree! My husband’s job would be exactly the same whether we had kids or not.

Really? That’s interesting. So a meal for 4 is the same as a meal for 1? Most would retire 20+ years earlier

Okay well….i get it! Working is not considered “overachieving” it’s a basic thing in life that’s required no matter if you have a family or not! Period! 🥰🥰

my husband still drives his little paid off kia but spoiled me and got me a new bmw (before we were even married) then spoiled me w a big rock and now spoiled me w giving me a son. he’s my provider through & through - he is so selfless with his money he could be doing a lot of other things if it wasn’t for our family, i’m forever grateful for him🩵

As the full time working mum and my partner is a stay at home dad I can’t stand this mentality. I have sacrificed time with my child to to return to work and put a roof over all of our heads. He’s had to sacrifice a career to allow me to remain in mine. Both come with sacrifice.

No, that man may have wanted to travel, to be an artist, to go to uni, anything but he couldn’t do any of that because he had responsibilities

Before I had children, I worked 8:00 AM-4:30 PM. Now I work 4:00 AM-3:00 PM and then 8:00 PM-10:00 PM to be able to pick up the kids early from preschool and to have more time with the kids. Saying that you don't sacrifice anything is crazy.
