Carpet is so cheap. Just order it. So dumb. Once you buy shampoo and use your time to clean it. Then buy the die cans. You nearly have spent the same amount. Then you have die that will not stay and it will get nasty over time.

You should have done the Rit. I promise you on that. I've done both recently and dupli-color rubs off, Rit is permanent.

use fabric softener and water at a ratio of 1:3 1 softener 3 water and spray onto carpet with a lite mist and then vaccum to soften it
